About:
In Subliminal, memory is not reliable.
Players awaken inside a fragmented, dreamlike environment shaped by subconscious fears and half-forgotten experiences. Familiar places – childhood rooms, fluorescent hallways, indoor waterparks – twist and stretch into something deeply wrong. The world shifts as you bend light to piece together your lost memories.
Light is not just illumination, it is survival.
Using dynamic light manipulation, players alter shadows, reveal hidden pathways, and reshape reality itself. Perspective-based puzzles distort spatial logic, forcing players to question what is real, what is remembered, and what is imagined. The deeper players descend, the more unstable their surroundings become.
Built in Unreal Engine 5 with advanced Lumen lighting and hyper-realistic environments, Subliminal creates a suffocating atmosphere where silence lingers and something unseen always feels close.
