Epic Games and Harmonix have announced the Rock Band successor Fortnite Festival is now available on iOS and Android devices as Festival Mobile; includes new touch based controls allowing players to easily take the game on the go, right from the Fortnite App.
Players can login to their existing Fortnite account to access their full music library, or play the free songs which are constantly on rotation.
Fortnite Festival originally launched in December of 2023, a month before additional song support for Rock Band 4 ended. Moving forward all DLC songs were released for Festival as Jam Tracks instead, and has continued with weekly releases. Unfortunately Rock Band 4 songs cannot be transferred to Festival, however many existing songs have been added to the new title.
Although the gameplay has been redesigned for controllers and keyboards, a pro option exists to bring back the original Rock Band style. Similar to Rock Band 4, players can use their original Guitar Hero and Rock Band instruments when using the pro option; however, at the time of this article, Pro Drums have yet to be added—it is strictly Guitar and Bass with Vocals expected soon.
