Valve has restocked both models of the Steam Deck OLED, but with an unexpected twist; prices for both versions have jumped by more than 40%.
Originally the 512 GB OLED Steam Deck retailed for $529, while the 1 TB model was priced at $649. This has now been increased to $789 (up by $240), and $949 (up by $300) respectively. This is roughly a 44% increase and a 46% increase.
Valve has stated the rising costs for RAM and storage are the deciding factors behind the change.
