Developer Sunny Lab has announced that Studio Ghibli composer Cécile Corbel will be creating the main theme for their upcoming cozy bakery RPG The Witch's Bakery, set to launch in August of 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Cécile Corbel is known for her work as the first non-Japanese composer for the Studio Ghibli in The Secret World of Arrietty, and will be lending her signature ethereal sound and whimsical artistry to the world of The Witch’s Bakery. Fans can listen to the new song in the newly released trailer, as seen below.
Additionally, The Witch’s Bakery is receiving a physical release for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are now open via Silver Lining Direct and participating local retailers for £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99

YOUR DAILY LIFE AS A WITCH-BAKER IN PARIS
You play as Lunne, who has just arrived in the city! Each day is split into three phases:The story progresses through the days as you earn experience, money, and fame, meet new friends and heal their heart.
- Daytime, where Lunne manages her bakery and serves clients with her team of friends.
- Evening, where Lunne explores Paris, builds relationships, discovers the city's secrets and goes inside her friends' troubled heart.
- Night, where Lunne rests, improves her magic, decorates her bakery and spends time in her cosy atelier.
A COLOURFUL PARIS IN A JOYFUL ADVENTURE
Once your work day is done, you can visit several districts of Paris to meet with main characters, engage in activities to learn new skills, buy books for new recipes, etc. Each district has its own characters, activities and shops!
A STORY ABOUT EMOTIONS AND VULNERABILITY
For some people, their emotion is locked away so strongly than Lunne needs to go inside their heart to help them. She enters their "Heart Palace", a magical space where emotions and thoughts take shape. Lunne needs to guide the personified Emotion back to the heart.
Inside the Heart Palace, Lunne discovers the person's deepest struggles and finds the key ingredient she needs to make a bread that will heal them!
