Solo-developer Cho Ki Choul of studio Very Positive has announced the two button high-speed action roguelite Steel Maiden will be coming to PC via Steam.
The game is currently available to wishlist, with a free demo set to release in the near future.
For more, here is the official overview and new announcement trailer.
About:
Beneath its dead-simple two-button input lies a razor-sharp battle of timing that pushes reflexes to their limit. Enemies pour in from every side, kills erupt across the screen, and the dopamine hits fast — turning “just one more run” into something impossible to resist.
Every run is reshaped by the builds you choose mid-run. Weapons found along the way can be fused into entirely new powers, while relics unlocked between runs let players gradually shape a playstyle of their own — making no two runs ever the same.
Behind the game’s striking visual identity is a solo creator who served as the art director on a Steam Awards “Outstanding Visual Style” nominee. Every action is brought to life through fluid, silky-smooth 2D sprite animation with a touch of retro pixel soul — each slash, dodge, and takedown exploding across the screen.
“I wanted to bottle that pure, immediate rush of fast action and pour it into a roguelite you can pick up with two fingers — built and shipped entirely on my own.”
