Developer Iron Gate's successful Viking game Valheim will finally have its 1.0 release September 9th, alongside its console debut for PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Currently available on early access for, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

For a long time you have asked when we will see the release of the Deep North, and at last we have a date to offer you!
Valheim 1.0 will arrive on 9 September, with new enemies to kill, bases to build and weapons to craft. The release will hit PC, Linux, Mac, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as per usual, and now we’re also adding PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 to the roster. Of course there will be full crossplay between all the platforms, so that you can play with your friends.

Valheim 1.0 Deep North releases September 9th, however, you can already play the game today on Xbox and Steam.
