Bandai Namco has released a free update for NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS; now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The update adds new playable character Nanashi, and a full original story mode centered around her. Additionally future free updates are now in development, with new online features planned for release this winter, and a new character next spring.

Following the introduction of Nanashi Uchiha in the game's Special Story Mode, players can dive into an original story in which Boruto Uzumaki must confront a looming threat to the peace of the ninja world.
Nanashi Uchiha is a mysterious figure whose tragic past has shaped her deep hatred of ninjas. Mistreated by the Uchiha clan and ultimately used as a weapon of destruction, she stands as a powerful enemy to Boruto. As the story unfolds, Boruto must fight to protect the ninja world, while slowly coming to realise that Nanashi may not be the villain everyone believes her to be.
