Answer: The game’s cataclysmic invasion fractures reality itself, causing historical landmarks to warp into otherworldly pocket dimensions. The British Museum is a world-renowned crossroads of global history and diverse artifacts; using it as the inspiration for the Great Russell Museum allows us to create gameplay scenarios that feel both familiar and surreal, giving players diverse combat and visual arenas within our structured linear progression.
Q: Recent coverage and online communities noticed changes to Gwendolyn’s facial model and overall aesthetic. Why was her model updated, and will it continue to evolve?
Answer: We’ve seen some of the discussion around Gwen’s appearance in recently released footage and some confusion on her overall physical look. To be very clear, we have not changed Gwen’s character model and her model has remained the same since the game was first revealed. From the very beginning of the project, our intention has been to create a protagonist who brings together both Eastern and Western aesthetics, and that direction has not changed. We’ve made improvements to things like her skin rendering and clothing materials, introduced different outfits, and adjusted the lighting. We have also recently started incorporating new facial techniques. Because this uses a different technical pipeline, some facial expressions can also look different from what players saw previously. This is an area we’re continuing to refine and polish as development progresses.
Q: Angela Sant'Albano has officially stepped in as Gwendolyn following Jennifer English's departure. Did Angela have to re-record all previous voice lines, or how was the transition handled?
Answer: Angela confidently stepped into the role to deliver a unified, emotional performance across Gwendolyn's entire campaign. Thanks to Jennifer’s support during the transition, the handover was incredibly smooth, and Angela has brought extraordinary grit, vulnerability, and power to the heroine that players will fully experience in the final game.
About the Trailer:
The trailer introduces Guinevere, King Arthur's wife in Arthurian legend. She finds Gwendolyn in the wreckage of her home and explains that a fog has swallowed London and is now tearing Avalon apart. Gwendolyn had believed herself powerless against it. Guinevere is the first person to tell her otherwise, that she can control the fog and the spectral knights just like King Arthur could, and agrees to train her to use these powers.
Guinevere hands Gwendolyn the sword used to command over ten legendary Knights of the Round Table, each with unique skills and abilities. Throughout the game, they fight alongside her, help her overcome the obstacles and solve the puzzles a broken city sets in her way.
