About:

Today’s show included an extended cut of the latest trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, revealing that Teostra is making an explosive return. Hunters can look forward to battling the fire-breathing Elder Dragon when the massive expansion launches in 2027 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

The expansion’s producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Takuro Hiraoka also delivered new details to prepare Hunters for the adventures that await, including a breakdown on the Boost Bracer, which enhances the action and makes hunts even more exhilarating.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance players can also look forward to several refinements to further improve their gameplay experience, including faster weapon swapping without the use of a Seikret mount, changing equipment outside the tent with the Item Box, and more! These improvements will also be available in the Monster Hunter Wilds™ base game.

Monster Hunter Wilds launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2026. Physical pre-orders of the game are available now, with digital pre-orders starting from October 19.
