Marvelous USA has announced Eternal Anima, a new time-traveling RPG coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 4th, 2027.
The game was originally teased under the working title PROJECT LIFE is RPG back in 2023, and is said to evoke the spirit of late 1990s and early 2000s JRPGs, while also featuring an ambitious time-traveling narrative, modern visuals, and strategic twists on traditional turn-based gameplay.
Eternal Anima will be available for pre-order through participating retailers and the Marvelous USA online store physically on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the game fully on cartridge, in a standard edition for $49.99 and $59.99, respectively. A physical Limited Edition will also be available, which includes a copy of the game, a two-disc soundtrack, nine character art cards with a display stand, and an art book for $79.99 on PlayStation 5 and $89.99 on Nintendo Switch 2.
