Developer NDEV GAMES and publisher Com2us Holdings have announced the release of a new free DLC for the metroidvania Fatal Claw; now available on PC via Steam.

The DLC introduces a new difficulty selection system, allowing players to tailor the adventure to their preferred playstyle. Three difficulty levels are available: Explorer (Easy), Warrior (Normal), and Trial (Hard). Depending on the selected difficulty, various gameplay elements are adjusted in detail, including Kisha’s stats, monster encounter frequency, and boss attack patterns, allowing both newcomers and experienced players to enjoy different levels of challenge. Speedrun Mode, which was not included in the full release, has also been added, offering a different way to enjoy the game by racing through designated sections and competing for faster completion times.
Combat and character customization have also been expanded. Ten new Fusion Skills have been added, giving players even more options in combat, along with Kisha’s new outfit, “Examoo’s Ceremonial Garb.” The DLC also introduces an in-game object displaying the names of supporters selected through the Community Supporters Event. In addition, early-game item progression has been improved, while item prices at village shops have been adjusted for greater convenience.
Developed by NDEV GAMES, Fatal Claw is a Metroidvania action-adventure game that follows Kisha, a mysterious cat, as he explores an unknown underground world. Combining side-scrolling action with character progression, the game features a combat system that allows Kisha to absorb abilities from infected enemies and use them in a variety of combat situations.
