Bandai Namco has announced Anna Williams will be joining TEKKEN 8 as a part of the game's Year 2 Season Pass.
She will launch on March 31st for anyone who owns the season pass, but will be released for everyone else a few days later on April 3rd.

Additionally, Season 2 will introduce gameplay adjustments for all characters, update the Rank Match system, and remove the Tekken Power matching system.

Anna Williams joins the fight as the first DLC character of the new season, expanding the game's roster to 37 fighters. Known as the "Scarlet Lightning” for her breathtaking beauty and skills as a former assassin, Anna continues her journey for revenge against her sister Nina Williams in TEKKEN 8.
The addition to the roster comes hot on the heels of the first licensed character added to the game, with Clive Rosfield from the FINAL FANTASY series announced at The Game Awards and added this past December.
Bandai Namco also unveiled the new season roadmap, confirming the release of three additional DLC characters after Anna along with two new stages, with planned drops in Summer, Autumn and Winter 2025.
Following an epic conclusion at TEKKEN World Tour 2024 Finals in Tokyo, TEKKEN World Tour 2025 will begin at EVO Japan this coming May. This year’s tour will include changes to the DOJO point system and Top 8 qualification. Bandai Namco also announced that Season 2 will introduce battle adjustments for all characters and updates to the Rank Match system including resetting leaderboards while adding eight new high tier ranks for players to achieve. Players will start with an updated rank and be matched throughout the season based on their highest-ranked character’s rank points. Additionally, the “Tekken Power” matching system has been removed.
