The previously Japanese exclusive Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute is finally coming west on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Developed by City Connection and published by Clear River Games, the game is set to launch on March 21st, and is an enhanced port of the 1997 SEGA Saturn classic.

A 32-bit sequel to the 1990’s game Assault Suit Leynos (known as ‘Target Earth’ in the US) for the Sega® Megadrive™/Genesis™ system, the winning combination of mech-themed run and gun shooting gameplay and anime inspired artwork, went on to spawn Assault Suit Leynos 2 for the Sega® Saturn™ as well as the much-loved prequel, Assault Suit Valken (Cybernator) for the Super Nintendo™ system in 1992.
The future war
The year is 2123 AD and the Zeneth Federation is waging an all-out war against the neighboring Republic of Sanraal. Just one year after the outbreak of the conflict, Sanraal's forces find themselves outnumbered by the military might of the Zenesian army. To address this dire situation, the President of Sanraal issues a special order to the 12th Special Armored Suits. Despite being comprised of troublemakers and delinquents, this unit, known commonly as the 12th SAS, is renowned for overcoming even the most insurmountable odds.
