Halo World Championship 2025 is happening on October 24th this year, and Halo Studios has confirmed that major announcements will be in store.
In addition to panels for Steve Downes and Jen Taylor (the voices of Master Chief and Cortana respectively), the studio plans to follow up the "A New Dawn" video from last year, and host a "deep dive" panel for what is next within the Halo series.
While nothing has been confirmed by Halo Studios, we know that Halo Infinite's cliffhanger ending will be continuing in Edge of Dawn, and dataminers have discovered Halo content on PlayStation Network. This suggests Halo may be returning in a new form, and will also be a multiplatform release—not exclusive to Xbox hardware.
That being said, these are still just rumors. Fans will have to wait for the panel on the 24th to learn more.
