The creator of modern Ninja Gaiden, and the Dead or Alive series, Tomonobu Itagaki has passed away at the age of 58.
The news was shared by his friends via Facebook, where they also honored his wish of sharing a final message with the world.

Itagaki headed Team Ninja, but left the company in 2008 to form his own named Valhalla Game Studio. Under this studio, Itagaki which would go on to release Devil's Third for the Wii U. The company was later dissolved in December of 2021, with Itagaki Games Co being formed later in September of 2024.
His games were very special to many of us here at Netto's Game Room, and the news of his passing is simply heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
