Ubisoft has released a new Hybrid Mode update for the always online racing game The Crew 2, which brings with it the very much requested "offline mode."
Players can download the game now, which has also seen a reduction in file size to roughly half of the original install.
The Crew 2 originally launched on June 29th, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and was succeeded by The Crew Motorfest on September 14th, 2023. The original title launched on December 2nd of 2014, but was shut down in 2024, making it unplayable. After backlash from the community, Ubisoft released a statement detailing plans to add an offline mode to The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest, which has now become a reality.
