Halo Waypoint now allows users to add PlayStation consoles to their Halo Insider Preferences.
The Halo Insider Program allows Halo Studios to reach out to the community and offer exclusive Beta access and other test "flights" for upcoming Halo games and projects. Previously this option was limited to Xbox consoles, but was expanded to PC when titles such as The Master Chief Collection and Halo Infinite made it to the hardware. Now with the announcement of Halo: Campaign Evolved coming to PlayStation 5, the PlayStation family has also joined the list of options available.
Although Halo: Campaign Evolved is coming to PlayStation 5, fans are given the option to check PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro as well. Currently there are no Halo titles confirmed coming to the platform, however dataminers suggest a multiplayer title is in the works. If this title is something new or a port of Halo Infinite is yet to be seen, and it is unknown if it would be available on PlayStation 4.
Keep in mind that Halo Waypoint currently does not allow players to fully link their PlayStation Network accounts to their profiles at this time; this is a feature that will be added at a later date. Once linked, Halo Waypoint will track and display stats across all Halo titles, allowing users to view their service records and compare them with others. Currently Waypoint only supports Xbox Accounts, with the option to link to Steam and Twitch.
