Granblue Fantasy is Now Available on Steam

Cygames has announced Granblue Fantasy is now available on Steam.

As previously announced, existing accounts will not transfer to the Steam release at this time, however Cygames is currently looking for ways to add compatibility in the future.

To celebrate the game's release, Cygames is also holding a giveaway event for a chance to win a Steam Deck or Acrylic Keychain set.

Granblue Fantasy is a classic JRPG that first launched in Japan for mobile devices and web browsers in 2014. Now, for the first time, new players outside of Japan can join the experience through Steam.

With the Steam release, the game will be playable in a 16:9 interface for the first time. 

Details 

Players residing outside of Japan will be able to access Granblue Fantasy using their Steam® accounts, and enjoy a redesigned layout optimized for 16:9 widescreen displays, a departure from the original vertical layout used on Mobage, GREE, DMM, and Yahoo! platforms. Please note that this service won’t be available in certain regions, including Japan. Additionally, players will not be able to play the Steam® version with preexisting accounts from other platforms, nor will they be able to transfer data from those accounts to the Steam® version. The Steam® version is available in English and Japanese.
