Nintendo Announces MAR10 DAY Plans for 2026, Includes Partnership with Lunchables


Nintendo
announces their plans for MAR10 Day (March 10th) 2026.

As a part of their plans, Nintendo encourages fans to check out the many available games on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, or purchase them on sale for a limited time, and asks everyone to look forward to the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1st. 

Additionally fans can check out the Nintendo Today! app to keep up to date with all things Mario, enter the new SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Sweepstakes for a chance to win a vacation for four, or partake in the Mario Kart World Open Series. Along with this, Nintendo has partnered with Lunchables to feature games such as Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Legends: Z-A on select Lunchable varieties. Each package will have a QR code that fans can scan for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch 2, and a digital game download.

Nintendo announces ways fans can join in on the MAR10 Day (March 10) fun this year, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game and upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (in theaters April 1). This includes three weeks of in-game events for the Mario Kart World game, a sweepstakes for a chance to win a theme park vacation to experience SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, events at Nintendo NEW YORK and Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO featuring a visit from Mario himself, and much more. Whether fans began their first adventure with Mario on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), the Nintendo Switch 2 system, The Super Mario Bros. Movie or somewhere else along the way, there are festivities for everyone this MAR10 Day.
 
Here are ways Mario fans of all ages can make the most of MAR10 Day this year:

  • Play Games Featuring Mario Across the Last 40 Years:
  • Get Ready for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie – In theaters April 1, Illumination and Nintendo present The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, an animated film featuring Mario and Luigi, plus friends like Yoshi and Princess Rosalina. Speaking of Rosalina, over on Nintendo Switch, you can get to know the character better in Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 (and enhance your adventure with a free update on Nintendo Switch 2).

  • Stay Up to Date on All Things Mario With Nintendo Today! – Download the Nintendo Today!  smart-device app and receive daily updates from Nintendo based on what you like, including the latest on games featuring Mario. Anyone with a Nintendo Account and a compatible smart device can use this free app. Don’t forget to customize your home screen with a widget and matching wallpaper featuring art from the Super Mario franchise in preparation for MAR10 Day!


  • Enter the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Sweepstakes: Now through May 31, enter for a chance to win a theme park vacation for four to experience SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at your choice of either Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, or Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.   • Join the Mario Kart World My Nintendo Open Series – This month, Nintendo Switch Online members can participate in a weekly series of online races in Mario Kart World.
