Stupid Never Dies Launches October 21st For PlayStation 5 and PC, to be Co-published by SEGA

GPTRACK50 Inc.
has announced their upcoming action RPG Stupid Never Dies will launch on October 21st, 2026 for
 PlayStation 5, and PC.

In addition to the release date announcement, GPTRACK50 has announced they will be partnering with SEGA as a part of a new co-publishing agreement to handle the game's worldwide publishing and distribution.

"We are delighted and deeply grateful to SEGA for their publishing partnership and support as we bring the first of many games from GPTRACK50 to players," said Hiroyuki Kobayashi, President of GPTRACK50. "Stupid Never Dies is an ambitious action game that introduces a number of original gameplay systems, and working with a publisher as experienced as SEGA has been invaluable. Together, our team remains committed to delivering a game that we believe players around the world will enjoy. We look forward to welcoming everyone into the world of Stupid Never Dies on October 21."

To celebrate, the team shared a new trailer featuring one of their most important – and hottest – characters, Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers, a mysterious entity zombie protagonist Davy encounters during his descent.

Players can either purchase the game as a Standard Edition for $49.99 USD or the Stupid Never Dies: Glorious Idiot Edition for $59.99, which includes the full game alongside its first DLC, TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack.

Containing five original TickTock Teddies that add visual features and new remixes for the game’s background music, the TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack DLC includes:

  • DLC Original TickTock Teddy #1: Big Head: Includes: Big Head Effect + New Combat Music Track Remix. Who said an underdog can’t have an ego? Use this effect to give Davy an oversized bobblehead, while triggering an exclusive composition version of the combat music.

  • DLC Original TickTock Teddy #2: Chirp Chirp: Includes Footstep Sound Effect + New Home Music Track Remix. Put an extra spring in Davy’s step with a cheerfully unique footstep sound effect while Davy is in Zombie Style, while listening to a fresh new background track as you prep for battle.

  • DLC Original TickTock Teddy #3: Festival: Includes Hit Sound Effect (during Davy Burst) + Davy Burst Background Music Track Remix. Make an impact as Davy decimates monsters on your way to KOM with new hit sound effects and a new remix of the background music during Davy Burst.

  • DLC Original TickTock Teddy #4: Romantic: Includes New Effects for Davy Burst + Main Theme Replaces Davy Burst Background Music. Add a little extra style to Davy Burst as the graffiti-style effects are replaced with an exciting new special gimmick, adding the game’s theme song in place of the original Davy Burst background music.

  • DLC Original TickTock Teddy #5: Splash: Includes Level-Up Effects + “Hurry Up” Music Track Remix. Davy gains new level-up effects to make sure monsters know that his power has grown, as a new remix of the “Hurry Up” background music plays.

And finally, players can get an early listen to Stupid Never Dies hard-hitting pop-punk soundtrack, with the release of two tracks – the official theme songs for the game – on August 4. Available to stream via Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and other major music streaming platforms:

  • Opening Theme: Stupid Never Dies (Performed by Davy & Julia): A high-energy pop-punk track performed by the game’s protagonist, Davy, and heroine, Julia.

  • Ending Theme: Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless (Performed by Davy): A heartfelt song, dedicated to Julia, Davy expresses his deep feelings and determination to bring his frozen princess back to the land of the living.

Companions Supporting Davy’s Adventure

Davy and Julia

Davy—the timid zombie protagonist, and Julia—the frozen woman he falls in love with at first sight.

Dr. Frank

A self-proclaimed “supreme intellect of humanity.”

Access Frank's Database at “Jupiter Target” to check out your acquired styles, defeated enemies, and explored layers. Plus, claim Enemy Statues, Pins, Badges, Stickers, and more, depending on your kills and chomped cores.

Bessie

A tomboyish biker zombie. Tough personality, never tolerating anyone who got in the way of her driving, whether they were the police or the mafia. She is tasked with bringing Davy back to the surface from the dungeon on her bike.

“Bessie Burger” is a burger joint where you can unlock Zombie Skills and boost rarity levels. This will give you new options for the Zombie Skills that you gain when reaching certain levels inside the dungeon.

Goyle

A stone statue monster unable to move even a step on his own.

Possessing clairvoyance and clairaudience, he becomes a researcher who relays information about the dungeon to Davy.

Talk to Goyle in the “Security Room” to access his analytics and see details about your last dungeon dive, materials needed for Bessie Burger orders, Frank's Database rewards, etc.

Acelino

A Chihuahua man, not a werewolf.

With a sharp mind, he serves as the doctor's right-hand assistant. He's also a playboy. Is responsible for Davy’s Body Hack.

Go to “Ink on the Brain,” the tattoo shop where Acelino hangs out, whenever you need to develop and manage your OT (Overtech) Gear, or embed it into Davy.

Boss Battles Revealed

In order to delve deeper into the dungeon, Davy will need to defeat increasingly challenging bosses:

Afleet

Said to have proven their loyalty to ultimate boss KOM (King Of Monsters) by drinking the flames of hell itself, afreets now burn with internal heat that fuels them endlessly. Their fearlessness has earned them high ranks and access to cutting-edge Overtech—such as an enhanced gravity control system that torments foes and even doubles as an exercise machine.

Wyvern

Vanguards of KOM’s army, wyverns fly ahead for recon, but often forget their orders and unleash surprise aerial attacks instead. Allies sometimes wonder if their skulls are hollow to help them fly. Regardless, their ferocity earns them respect and awe, and humans often use their image in heraldry. Classic beasts at heart, wyverns initially resisted Overtech for fear of being labeled "hypebeasts," but progress soars on.

Bob Dullahan

A wanderer who’s lived and breathed freedom since time immemorial—one of the very few who dared fight back when KOM seized power. In the end, his head and the glowing core within were devoured. He often sings of liberty, and his style is emphatic, bold, and plainly declares, "I don't care what the listener wants to hear." Anyone who objects to his performances he quickly brands as an "enemy of freedom," and so most have learned to shut up and put up.

Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers

His grand cosmic duty is to discharge the waste generated by mother earth Gaia's metabolism; his vibe is someone who doesn't give a shit. Maybe because next to Gaia's vastness, individual worries seem too tiny. Or maybe he's just a moron.

Stupid Never Dies will be available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 in Fall 2026. The game will be available in English, with English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese as supported subtitle languages.
