HideWorks has announced Liminal Point is now set to release in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

First, an update on release timing: LIMINAL POINT is now planned for release in 2027.
We know a lot of you were super excited to play the game this year, but please hold on to that feeling.
The game has continued to grow considerably since we first announced it (a lot more combat options, crafting, more enemies than in the original scoped game), and we want to give ourselves the time needed to properly finish, polish, optimize, and generally try our best to make a great game rather than rush toward an earlier date. A lot of it is also feature requests from the players such as control remapping. Just that took weeks to implement that we hadn't in our initial plans.
Another big change since our original plans is that LIMINAL POINT is now also being developed for consoles. Bringing the game to additional platforms means extra work, controls, UI, testing, platform-specific requirements, and certification. We're a very small team(we're just two people), so supporting multiple platforms properly adds development time, but we're excited to be building LIMINAL POINT for a much wider audience.
Development is very much active, and we're making steady progress across the game, environments, combat, enemies, cinematics, animation, optimization, world and story.
We're incredibly grateful for the amount of interest LIMINAL POINT has received. Seeing so many of you following and wishlisting the game means a lot to us, and we want the finished game to live up to that support.
