World of Warcraft: Forever Announced, Releases November 4th

In a bit of news that had me screaming from my couch, Blizzard finally unveiled their long hinted at "Classic +" version, which they've titled World of Warcraft: Forever. Releasing on November 4th, WoW: Forever takes us back to the original version of the game, before any of the expansions rolled out and changed the look and tone of the game, and reimagines what a completely different timeline could look like. Promising new zones/regions, new race/class combinations and loads of other features and quality-of-life adjustments, Forever looks set to bring an entirely new vision of Azeroth to World of Warcraft's audience.

About via Blizzard

For years, players have imagined what it might be like to keep exploring the world where this journey began: to take the roads that were never opened, uncover the stories that stayed just out of reach, and return to Azeroth with friends old and new. World of Warcraft: Forever grew from that shared hope, from what we learned with WoW Classic and Season of Discovery, and from a community that has never stopped dreaming about what else original Azeroth could become.
