A Reddit User attending Comicon in Naples recently made a post discussing Yuji Horri's apparently slip up regarding a remake of the SNES Classic Chrono Trigger; however, this seems to have been a mistranslation.
A the original post explains:
During the presentation, the father of Dragon Quest and co-creator of Chrono Trigger was discussing the game, when he accidentally mentioned a Chrono Trigger remake in the works. At that moment the host whispered something into his ear, and he apparently covered his mouth in surprise at his own words.
The reality is, it seems the translator may have mistakenly translated what was said, and Yuji Horri’s reaction may have been in response to the translation error. The live video of the event is now out, and Yuji Horri seems to not have mentioned anything regarding a remake.
