Half-Life Logo Spotted in Valve's New Hardware Trailer

Our very own Jeremy Schepper has spotted something a bit interesting in the latest Valve Hardware Trailer; while it may simply be an easter egg, the Half-Life symbol can be seen for a quick moment on a keyboard.

The focus during this scene was none-other than the new Steam Controller, so the keyboard could very well just be an employee's keyboard—with no actual meaning behind the symbol.

Or could it be something more?

Prior to the hardware announcement, we were tipped off regarding a Half-Life 3 reveal, but with the possibility of the announcement being saved for later. Of course we could not confirm these rumors, and nothing related to Half-Life 3 was officially announced today. (The source was correct on the hardware announcement however.)

Personally we here at Netto's Game Room are hoping the symbol is teasing a new Half-Life themed Keyboard, but we'll just have to wait until Valve releases an official statement to find out. The keyboard featured is actually the Shurikey Hanzo 001 keyboard, but with the additional Half-Life logo key added.

Whatever the case is, chances are this is just a simple throwback—one Valve put in to keep their fans guessing.
