Reminder: Halo Announcement Set for October 24th at HaloWC

As previously announced, the Halo World Championship will be held on October 24th, with Halo Studios planning a "Deep Dive" panel to announce the future of the Halo series.

While Halo Studios has yet to offer any clues as to what will be announced at the event, we know that Halo Infinite's cliffhanger ending will be continuing in Edge of Dawn, which is set for release in December. Additionally Halo titles have been discovered on PlayStation by dataminers, and multiple rumors of an Unreal Engine 5 Halo: Combat Evolved remake have begun to circulate. These are just rumors however, with no official conformation.

In addition to these rumors, many fans are still hopeful that the Halo: Master Chief Collection will be coming to PlayStation 5 as well, as it is one of the only Xbox exclusives that has yet to make the jump to the platform.

What has been confirmed however, is that the new announcement will be a follow up to last year's A New Dawn trailer, which marked the start of Halo's rebirth.

Either way, fans will need to wait until the 24th for the official announcement to learn more.
